    Aw, thanks again for the mention! I totally know what you mean about blindly reaching for the alarm and swiping everything off your bedside table . . . yikes! I put my alarm on my floor now (well, I sleep on a mattress so it’s not too far)!

    I have and idea: Buy something that has at least two elevations, then stash the lip balm, contacts case, tissues, pens,  jug and cup of water below, and put only your alarm-clock-mobile and desk lamp on top.
