Hello there! I’m Tze (pronounced ‘Chi’) and am the author of this blog. I currently live in Frankfurt am Main in Germany and work as a games tester.

I was born and raised in the Netherlands with Taiwanese roots. After finishing secondary school I tried two art schools in Arnhem and ‘s-Hertogenbosch but failed both during the first year. :p I’m currently 27.
My boyfriend Ben is from Manchester, and we visit the city twice a year. The British stereotype for a Dutch accent amazes me (never realised it sounded like that to them until I was half forced to watch Goldmember).
Food
When reading this blog, you’ll notice that I am absolutely obsessed with food. Maybe it runs in the family, maybe it’s just a Chinese thing.
I love food– to cook, to eat, to draw, to read about, to talk about… so of course, it shows up in the comics half of the time.
Bentos
I’m currently intrigued by bentos (wiki), which are an excellent guide to making varied (and most importantly), yummy lunches. Losing weight with bentos is also possible, but I haven’t quite mastered that yet. *cough* Better visit JustBento for tips on losing weight with bentos.
History of the Mêh comic
This blog actually started as a personal diary comic in 2002, with its first public appearance on Cartoozine (website no longer exists), soon to be followed by weekly updates on Stripster. Six smallpress editions were ‘self published’, the last one in 2004. …Let’s not go into further detail about those. ._.
What’s more important is that an actual book (even though still smallpress and self published) was released in October 2011!
The blog went online in August 2010. Earlier comics were added to the archive.
What this blog is about
Well, it’s a diary, so the most common topics are life in Germany, cultural differences, videogames I play, food I’ve eaten and random small things (usually placed under Little Mêhs). Is this a personal blog? A webcomic? Is this slowly turning into a food blog? I’m not quite sure. >_>
